A Street Hawker | Paragraph
A man who deals in various things by hawking from street to street is called a street hawker. He is a self employed person. He usually lives in a slum or in a house at a very low ret. He is a familiar figure. He is seen almost everywhere in a village or in a town. He carried his materials on head and sometimes in hand or in a small handcart. A street hawker is very cunning person. He knows his business very well. He generally buys his goods at a cheaper rate and sells them in at a good profit. Usually his customers are children and women. He brings toys, sweets and other things for children and sells them at a fixed price at a good rate. He also brings bangles, ribbons, clothing, fruits, utensils, fancy goods and things of domestic uses for women. He usually appears at noon or in the absence of the house master. He speaks in different ways, wears colorful dres and sometimes plays flute or raises high voice to draw the attention of his customers. He walks for hours to sell his goods. So, he has to tail a lot to earn his livelihood. Though he work hard and adopts various tricks, he can hardly maintain his family well. But he renders a great service to the society as he carries necessary items to our door. So, we should be kind to them and do something to improve their lifestyle.
